“If one day the speed kills me, do not cry because I was smiling.”
Biography
To the world he was Brian O'Conner, the heart of the Fast & Furious family that grew into one of cinema's biggest franchises. But away from the cameras, Paul Walker lived a second, quieter life, founding Reach Out Worldwide, a disaster-relief team he took personally into earthquakes and hurricanes, and famously buying a wounded veteran's engagement ring anonymously.
He died in a car crash at 40, midway through filming, and the franchise wrote him a farewell, See You Again, that became a global anthem of grief and gratitude, one of the most-watched videos ever made. His family continues the charity he built, so the good outlives the loss.
